K. Lin is a writer-artist-multitasker who currently resides in the UK, after spending significant portions of her life between China and the East Coast of the United States.
She was named a California Arts Scholar upon completing the Creative Writing programme at California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), and her work was recognised as one of the top 60 entries by the BBC Young Writers’ Award in 2023. Her writing will be featured in ETERNAL, The 309 Collective's Literary Magazine. A first-year student in Comparative Literature at King’s College London, she is interested in academic topics related to East Asian literature, translation, and cultural studies.
Outside of writing, she is committed to being the founder and president of King’s College London Vocaloid Society (kcl-vocaloid.github.io), i.e. doing character design, graphic design, social media marketing plus outreach, and website programming all at the same time.
